In 2013, Ciara became engaged to rapper Future, the father of her son, who was born in May 2014. It was unfortunate to learn that several months after giving birth, in August 2014, Future had cheated on Ciara with his stylist.

The singer felt hurt and betrayed, understandably. Becoming a mother hugely impacted Ciara’s life for the good, both emotionally and physically. But the same couldn’t be said for Future.

During her post-pregnancy weight loss of 60 pounds, Ciara adopted a softer and more flattering style that was more in keeping with her inherent beauty. Rather than wearing wild hairstyles, she wore stylish hairstyles, probably influenced by her romantic relationship with football player Russell Wilson.

Ciara welcomed a daughter in April 2017, and a son in July 2020 with her now-husband Russell Wilson, and she certainly glows as a mother! Plus, she has been working hard on new music, releasing several tracks in 2022.
